I’m not sure whether my visitors know where Graz is? It’s a small city in Austria, near Slovenian border and very close to Croatia - Croatians just looooveee to visit their favorite shopping area.

More than fifteen years ago, we used to get everything there: clothing, food, furniture… but these times are now changed. Now, we also have (maybe too many) shopping malls and there is no need for us to go abroad. But we still miss one thing here in Croatia: Ikea.

Every second man or woman in Croatia was in Graz, but if you asked them where in Graz it would always be the same answer: in the shopping area (it’s called „Graz-West“ and „Seiersberg”). Almost no visits the Graz city center!

But we do :), and we like it! And as you reading this post I am probably somewhere on the road to Graz or am drinking coffee in one of the Graz coffee shops! Or maybe I’ll be drinking hot wine on the streets?

Ho ho ho! :)

In Croatia we’re not just missing Ikea. You forgot H&M and asian supermarkets. 2 of the favourite places I like to go when I leave Croatia.
Graz I find a little cold emotionaly though, not enough street life.

Huh gav, maybe you haven’t visited Graz in December? You can’t say that is “cold”… oh, no!
